Briefing – Learning from Reviews and LSCB Audits August 2019
This briefing presents key points and findings from analysis conducted by CareKnowledge of 24 Serious Case Reviews (SCRs) published nationally since January 2019.
Some of the findings resonate with those from local reviews and LSCB multiagency audits, and key messages from two local reviews are also presented. This briefing is aimed at managers and practitioners working with children and families and should be shared with colleagues.
Serious Case Reviews - Nadiya and Robyn

Multi Agency Learning and Improvement Review - Brandon
On 17th May 2018, the Leicester Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) published the summary of a multi-agency learning and improvement review into the death of 15 year-old Brandon, who sadly took his own life in August 2016. Jenny Myers, Independent Chair of the LSCB has released a statement regarding the review.

On 27th February 2017, the Leicester Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) published a serious case review concerning a child who we shall refer to as Child A1.
